High-Precision Laser-Based Gas Detection Enhancing Urban Gas Safety
From October 22 to 24, the 27th China International Gas, Heating Technology and Equipment Exhibition will be held at the Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center. Organized by the China City Gas Association, the exhibition has been held for 26 consecutive editions and is one of the largest and most influential professional events in China's gas industry.

As a nationally recognized 'Little Giant' enterprise specializing in advanced and specialized technologies, UbiNavi will present its full portfolio of gas safety products at the exhibition. The company will showcase an integrated gas safety monitoring solution based on GNSS and high-precision sensing technologies, designed to support comprehensive and data-driven gas safety management.
In collaboration with research institutions, UbiNavi has conducted joint research and development to advance gas detection technologies. The company has developed the iGasDetector, a high-precision gas detection sensor based on mid-infrared absorption spectroscopy. The sensor achieves parts-per-billion (PPB) level sensitivity, enabling the detection of trace gas leaks in urban gas pipeline networks.
To address the complexity of urban inspection environments, UbiNavi integrates its proprietary sensors with GNSS positioning technology and deploys them across multiple platforms, including vehicles, electric scooters, and unmanned surface vessels. This enables wide-area, high-efficiency inspection and supports rapid identification of potential safety risks.
The gas safety monitoring system of UbiNavi currently includes:
• Vehicle-mounted inspection systems, deployed on cars and electric vehicles for rapid urban coverage, combining high detection sensitivity with operational efficiency.
• Portable detection devices, including PPB-level backpack systems and a range of handheld detectors designed for flexible, lightweight field operations.
Through its integrated sensing products and digital management platforms, UbiNavi supports end-to-end gas safety workflows—from early risk detection to incident response and closed-loop management—while reducing inspection workload and operational costs for gas operators.
